Naturally, our bodies block out our memories from birth because of the physical trauma on our bodies. This is very unfortunate as it also blocks out the memories of us meeting our baby for the first time. It is such an honor when families hire me to photograph such an important day for them. Documenting the strength of a woman as she brings life into the world is just as important as capturing baby's first breath, first yawn, and first time in their parents arms.
